Establishment: 
The college was established in 1975 as an Institute for Training Agricultural Teachers. Then, in 1980-1981, it became a Society College. Administrative, educational and agricultural programs have been conducted in the college since its establishment. Graduates of the college are given Diploma Degree after finishing two academic years.
   - Development: After the issuance of the Sublime Royal Will to establish Al-Balqa' Applied University, Ash-Shouback college was affiliated with the university administratively, financially and academically starting from 1-1-1991.
   - Goals: Through its strategic plan which springs from the strategic goals of Al-Balqa' Applied University, the mission of the college is to promote the level and range of the services offered to the Jordanian community by providing and preparing well-trained technicians whether in Agricultural, educational and trade fields so that they can participate in various development projects.
    The college also concentrates on the local commuinty by exploiting all its assets for this end like conducting training courses in computer fields and food industry.
    College and society: Between the college and the community in which it exists, there is a strong cooperation in all domains : scientific, social, sport and otherwise.
    The college also provides the community with all possible facilities for different activities. The staff members of the college serve as consultants specially in matters related to agriculture - in collaboration with people-owned farms.
     Scientific research: The college conducts researches financially supported by the University center. These researches are concerned with agriculture (insects- prevention/protection) and nutrition and food industry.
