The department of Management Information Systems (MIS) was established in 2011 as a part of the Business College.
The department integrates academic and practical educational approaches and adopts applied research emphasis through a dedicated staff that aims at providing quality teaching through continuous enhancement efforts, student success, and community service.

Our objectives are to:
- Provide students with the needed skills in the areas of problem-solving, decision-making and other practical experiences by using the state of art and the most updated
teaching methods.
- Develop a positive character by nurturing an environment that fosters positive values, high ethical standards, a sense of personal responsibility, and self-discipline.
- Correct the mismatch between demand and supply for MIS graduates by adopting and utilizing a curriculum responsive to the business needs, and aligned to
the international standards and best practices.
- Undertake comparative empirical and applied researches to deal with emerging and specialized issues in MIS field.
- Recruit highly-qualified staff with advanced level of knowledge to enhance the teaching process and to provide the best way of knowledge transfer.
