Welcome to
Faculty of Engineering
The Faculty of Engineering is founded in 1997, and it initially offered two undergraduate programs by two departments: Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering and Department of Surveying and Geomatics Engineering. In 2002/2003, we expanded our academic offerings with the introduction of the Department of Computer Engineering.
Our faculty has since grown to include a diverse range of undergraduate programs in 2013/2014, adding three departments: Architecture Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Power Engineering. In 2020/2021, we restructured some programs and departments, like combining Electrical Engineering/Computer and Electrical Engineering/Power into the Electrical Engineering Department. Also, combining Civil Engineering/Construction and Civil Engineering/Surveying and Geomatics into the Civil Engineering Department.
Today, the Faculty of Engineering proudly supports about 2,000 students, backed by a dedicated team of approximately 60 faculty members and 60 administrative staff.
We are also committed to advancing graduate studies. In the 2004/2005 academic year, we introduced a new Master’s program in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering. In 2020/2021, we launched another new Master’s program (Geomatics Engineering), expanding our offerings and opportunities for advanced study.
