This major is concerned with the integrated management of water resources and environmental systems, the economics of water and the environment, and the applications of geographic information systems in these two sectors. Moreover, students majoring in Water Resources Management and Environment are exposed and trained on skills that qualify them to compete in the labor market in the private sector and local and foreign non-governmental organizations and develop innovative business projects.

The Water Resources Management and Environment Department seeks to promote an environment of leadership and sustainability in the water and environmental sectors in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
- The department integrates several fields of knowledge related to water, the environment, environmental systems, soil, air, waste management, environmental impact studies, environmental legislation and economics in order to graduate qualified agricultural engineers.
