Bachelor’s Degree Programs:


  1. Bachelor of Special Education
    This program comprises a diverse range of courses, comprising both mandatory and elective university requirements as well as mandatory and elective major requirements, with a total of (132) credit hours. The curriculum is designed to equip students with solid academic knowledge and professional competencies, enabling them to perform effectively and excel in their field.
  2. Bachelor of Special Education / Giftedness and Creativity
    This program comprises a diverse range of courses, comprising both mandatory and elective university requirements as well as mandatory and elective major requirements, with a total of (132) credit hours. The curriculum is designed to develop students' intellectual and professional competencies, enabling them to perform efficiently and effectively in the field of gifted education and creativity.
  3. Bachelor of Psychological and Educational Counseling
    This program comprises a diverse range of courses, comprising both mandatory and elective university requirements as well as mandatory and elective major requirements, with a total of (132) credit hours. The curriculum is designed to provide students with strong theoretical foundations and the practical skills necessary for effective professional practice in the field of psychological and educational counseling.

Associate Diploma Program


  1. Measurement and Diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders
    This program comprises a diverse range of courses, comprising mandatory university requirements as well as specialized mandatory courses, with a total of (72) credit hours. The curriculum is designed to equip students with essential theoretical knowledge and practical skills, enabling them to develop professionally and perform effectively in the assessment and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders.

  1. Master’s in educational psychology
    This program comprises a diverse range of mandatory and elective courses within the major, with a total of (33) credit hours. The curriculum is designed to provide students with a strong academic and professional foundation, preparing them for effective practice, research, and continued professional development. The program is offered through two tracks: the thesis track and the comprehensive (non-thesis) track.
  2. Master’s in special education (Giftedness and Creativity)
    This program comprises a diverse range of mandatory and elective courses within the major, with a total of (33) credit hours. The curriculum is designed to develop students' theoretical understanding and applied skills in the field of gifted education and creativity. The program is offered through two tracks: the thesis track and the comprehensive (non-thesis) track.
  3. Master’s in special education (Learning Disabilities)
    This program comprises a diverse range of mandatory and elective courses within the major, with a total of (33) credit hours. The curriculum is designed to equip graduates with the knowledge and practical competencies required to address learning disabilities effectively in educational and clinical settings. The program is offered through two tracks: the thesis track and the comprehensive (non-thesis) track.

Program Objectives
PO1 To provide students with a broad scientific foundation spanning all categories of special education, together with in-depth knowledge of each of its specialized fields.
PO2 To develop students' understanding of the causes of disability and means of its prevention, as well as the nature of the educational, instructional, and support services appropriate to each category of special education.
PO3 To prepare qualified, trained professionals capable of identifying, diagnosing, and assessing special education categories, and in developing educational plans to teach, support, and enhance the abilities of these individuals.
PO4 To prepare students to conduct scientific research in the fields of special education.
PO5 To qualify specialized educational practitioners capable of working effectively with persons with disabilities.
