Department of Financial and Banking Sciences:
At the beginning of the academic year, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the old and new students of the Financial and Managerial Sciences’ Department. I applaud your choice of this specialization which enables you to get the skills of learning in all aspects of financial and administrative sciences. The department offers its students the chance to get training in banks and different financial institutions. Also, it offers students various academic and non- academic activities which gives them an opportunity for creativity.
We, at the Department of Financial and Administrative Sciences, invite you to push the wheel of success of our department because of the reputation of the department which is the fruit of your success and it is the key of the future work.
The doors of our department are open to all of you to interact and to cooperate to enhance the reputation of our department and its position in the financial and banking society inside the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and outside it.

Providing local markets with qualified graduates, who have the ability to interact in the local market field ; motivated to achieve administrative changes in a way that fulfils the developments both locally and regionally.
Objectives
Employing specialized and financially experienced academic staff who pass their competence to students and contribute in teaching and graduating distinguished financial competent graduates who are able to comprehend and pass academic knowledge and apply it in the applied fields.
Exploring abilities and opportunities by recruiting competent and financially experienced people who meet the requirements of the market; locally and internationally.
Developing and updating programs and academic curricula to guarantee students’ and trainees’ distinction.
Maintaining relationships between the faculty and its partners and building permanent partnerships to follow up on the academic affairs of the program and the graduates to offer the best jobs.
Employing the best competent faculty members and specialized administrators to achieve the vision and message of the faculty.
The contribution in the distribution of the vocational sophistication and distinction in the specialized financial programs and reflecting academic outcomes in the form of financial and administrative decisions rooted in the cultures of firms and institutes.
Providing the local and regional job markets with the best graduates in in the Business Administration/ Finance who are experienced in the financial and administrative fields.
Providing students with applied knowledge and skills to meet job field needs.
Focusing on the research and exploratory skills in a way that fits the scientific methodology of thinking.

Explaining terminology used in the financial and manking theory explicitly.

Analysing financial issues that appear in banks and companies.
Presenting problems and suggesting solutions for the different financial issues.
Creating plans to expand the work of financial firms.
Supposing practical financial decisions that increase firms’ and banks’ competence.
Practical Skills:
Applying different financial theories on the local banks and firms.
Using acquired theoretical skills in practical workshops.
Making financial and banking decisions on the virtual cases.
Implementing the expected tasks in his job. .
General and Transformational Skills:
Self- Development of the others, extra reading of journals, symposia, and financial news.
Group work with students from other specializations; each student will apply his own separate assignment; and then, he will complement others’ work.
Effective communication, students get training in the effective participation in symposia, conference, and lectures.
