Welcome to the Faculty of Digital Media at Al-Balqa Applied University. The Faculty was established in 2026 in response to the rapid transformation of the media industry and the growing need for applied media education that keeps pace with digital developments and responds to the needs of local and regional labor markets. The Faculty offers two bachelor's/ Diploma degree programs: Digital Media and TV & Radio Production and Directing Techniques. Designed in accordance with national academic accreditation standards and with input from specialized academic experts, the programs combine a strong foundation in media and communication studies with practical training in contemporary journalistic, digital, audiovisual, and broadcast production. The program pays particular attention to the professional and ethical use of artificial intelligence in media practice. The Faculty adopts an applied approach to education, supported by a training environment that includes specialized digital journalism and editing labs, photography facilities, and television production studios. This environment strengthens students' professional skills, enhances their workplace readiness, and enables them to respond to the ongoing transformation of media practice.
