Applied Sciences Department

The Department of Applied Sciences was established at Al-Huosn University College in the academic year 2000/2001. The department grants bachelor’s degrees in the following specializations: vocational education, library and information management, and home economics.
A bachelor's degree awarded after completion a study plan 132 credit hours in addition to the field training at least 560 hours for both Vocational Education and Home Economics, while the major Library and Information Management includes 280 hours of training. The department includes a qualified educational staff of faculty members, and laboratory supervisors in various specializations related to Applied Sciences.
The department also includes laboratories and workshops equipped with the latest equipment and facilities to serve the programs offered by the department to meet the needs of the labor market at local and regional levels.
