The department of Financial & Administrative Sciences seeks to keep pace with the scientific and professional progresses through continuous development of intermediate diploma and bachelor curriculum, taking into consideration the requirements of labor market to prepare qualified competencies for fields of financial and administrative sciences, due to its vital and influential impact on the national economy. The department was established in 2001; at Al-Huson University College for the goal of empowering students to acquire the finest in accounting, management information systems, business administration, and supply management, which give them the best opportunities to take part in labor market and in postgraduate studies. It also aims to support the scientific research by guiding students and directing them toward scientific research for permanent self-development. The department's programs consist of modern and advanced study plans that keep pace with local and international improvements in the field of financial and administrative sciences, as well as scientifically and practically meeting the needs of labor market for distinguished graduates. Graduates of the department will be able to work efficiently and effectively in business establishments and services in the public and private sectors. The department includes a group of scientifically and practically qualified faculty members in various disciplines of financial and administrative sciences. The department also includes laboratories equipped with the latest equipment to serve programs offered by the department to meet labor market needs. Department Vision The Department of Financial and Administrative Sciences should be distinguished locally, regionally, and globally as a leading department in teaching and graduating qualified cadres of employees in the departments of finance and accounting, information systems, and supply managements by focusing on the development of scientific research and analytical and philosophical thought; in all aspects of financial and administrative sciences as well as combining financial, administrative, and applied knowledge. In addition, it will be focusing on field training that benefits from the modern technological developments and the high-quality services. Department Mission The Department of Financial and Administrative Sciences seeks to provide high-quality financial and administrative programs in education, community service and scientific research, and to provide the student with the necessary knowledge in the fields of accounting, business administration, management information systems, supply management, as well as training students on the necessary programs and techniques necessary in the theoretical and practical aspects of bachelor's and intermediate diploma degrees. The department provides a suitable academic climate for studies and research to prepare high-quality cadres that meet the labor market needs and who are able to compete in a world that seeks professionalism and efficiency, which contributes to the advancement of economic and sustainable development

Department Objectives:

• Providing students with basic concepts in the field of financial and administrative sciences by focusing on the theoretical, practical, and applied philosophies.
• Training students on using various applications in the field of financial and administrative sciences to keep pace with the modern technological developments.
• Providing students with the practical and applied technical skills to prepare them for labor market and to compete efficiently and effectively.
• Providing organizations and financial markets with the qualified and specialized human resources in fields of accounting, administrative systems, business administration, and supply management.
• Supporting the research capabilities of those enrolled in the program by preparing applied research that contribute to solving administrative problems in the Jordanian and surrounding societies.
• Expanding the recruitment of students to continue their postgraduate studies in the Financial and Administrative Sciences department to meet the needs of civil societies
