Al-Huson University College was established in 1981, which was created by the Ministry of Education. The aim of establishing the college in the beginning was to qualify specialized technicians to meet the needs of the labor market. In 1985, the college began operating under the umbrella of the Ministry of Heigher Education, and then the college was transformed into one of the colleges of Al-Balqa Applied University.
The college began to take on a distinguished role at the level of the northern region, as the number of college students in the academic year 2024/2025 reached approximately (7442) students in various specializations at the bachelor’s and diploma levels. Al-Huson University College is distinguished by a large number of qualified academic, administrative, and technical staff. The college has (31) full-professors, (45) associate professors, (33) assistant professors, (56) instructors and (5) assistant instructors. The number of administrators, technicians, and workers is also (121) male and female employees.
