Promoting primary medical education and the integration of technology and medical informatics; Developing medical education and training for Doctor of medicine degree, focusing on the acquisition of the necessary skills and competencies; Judging the general practitioner’s capacity to deliver health services effectively and safely; Providing high-quality medical services to patients through hospitals and affiliated university centers

These values will always be considered in achieving vision, mission, and goals of the faculty of medicine at Al-Balqa’ Applied University:

  • Working to create a safe and healthy atmosphere that is characterized by respect, appreciation and feeling with the other and preserving dignity.
  • Stimulating and enhancing the spirit of participation and teamwork and mutual respect.
  • Work to create a comfortable academic atmosphere and secure a decent life for faculty members and college employees.
Faculty’s Strategic Priorities

  1. Attracting and appointing faculty members with a high degree of science and knowledge, and maintaining the continuity of their stay in the faculty.
  2. Directing medical education towards achieving the medical and clinical competencies required to graduate an honest and distinguished doctor, scientifically and practically.
  3. Establishing complementary relationships with universities, institutes, hospitals, health institutions, and local, regional and international medical colleges.
  4. Attracting distinguished students and motivating them to continue studying in various medical specialties, to continue continuous medical education and to carry out scientific research.
  5. Supporting the Jordanian health system with advanced medical specializations and directing scientific research to the diseases that the local community suffers from.
  6. Transforming the medical school into a smart college
