Faculty of Engineering Technology (FET) is one of the leading applied institutes of Al Balqa' Applied university (BAU). BAU has 16 college campuses that distributed over all the country, serving Jordanians and developing their professions and careers. FET is specialized in applied learning and technology. Our mission is concentrating on providing skilled technicians and professional engineers with high knowledge in applied sciences and technology.
We worked for many years, and still approaching to enhance the local and regional markets with well educated and parasitized graduates holding Master, Bachelor and Diploma degrees. FET is ranked the best and biggest engineering department in Jordan. The number of publications, quality and experience of the staff members, make it clear that this faculty offers you the best engineering education you could wish for. I am sure that its fair to say that those who study here find it a welcoming experience. FET offers a wide range of applied engineering programs, it also has an outstanding track record in research with high level of success in national competitive grants and other publishing funded grants. We are used to reflect our performance and activities of the FET in a series of annual reports at the end of each semester. This Website is an updating edition showing our way to keep holding our promises, to keep ourselves as leaders in applied learning, and in serving our country, doing our best abilities under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah the Second.

About

The Faculty of Engineering Technology (FET) is one of the leading applied colleges at Al-Balqa Applied University (BAU). As part of a network consisting of 12 satellite colleges spread across the country, FET is dedicated to advancing students with professional and technical capabilities. Specializing in applied learning with cutting-edge technology, FET has a clear mission to produce highly skilled, competent technicians and professional engineers. With explicit programs focusing on delivering deep expertise in applied sciences and technology, FET graduates distinguish themselves with the practical knowledge and skills needed to excel in today’s fast-paced technology.
With a quick historical millstone of FET, it was established back in 1975 as a Technical Institute (Polytechnic) for engineering diplomas before it was transformed into two years community college. However, in 1989, FET developed bachelor’s engineering programs with rare and distinguished specializations under the supervision of the Higher Education Council.
In 1997, FET was merged under the umbrella of Al-Balqa Applied University as the Amman College of Technological Engineering. Shortly after that, it was renamed as Faculty of Engineering Technology with 5 years of engineering programs such as Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Civil, and Chemical Engineering.
