A regional leadership in technical education that simulates the growing development in modern technologies and is in harmony with the needs of the market.
Mission
Developing and providing technical educational programs that meet the needs of the labor market, by integrating academic education with field and applied training within effective partnerships between the university and the business and industry sectors to create an applied educational environment that raises the competencies of graduates and dedicates their opportunities towards obtaining real job opportunities that enable them to serve different sectors and play a role active in society.
Objectives
The college has set the main and subsidiary strategic objectives, which are considered relevant and realistic within a time frame, measurable and logically proportional to the financial and human resources, which in turn are considered derived from the main goals of the university, which the college is keen to implement through its academic departments by developing a number of programs, projects and initiatives that enable The college is able to achieve and implement its strategy during the coming years, as follows:
  1. Improving the educational environment and developing the principles and methods of teaching and learning for the college and its students:
    • Developing technical educational academic programs that are distinguished by quality and high efficiency, commensurate with the needs of the labor market.
    • Attracting successful and creative students, providing a psychological and social environment that supports creativity and excellence, refining talents, and preparing students for the labor market by providing them with the necessary skills to enhance the competitive advantage of college graduates.
  2. Promoting scientific research, creativity and innovation:
    • Activating the role of departments to provide a stimulating environment for creativity and innovation for students and faculty members.
    • Stimulating research and scientific activities for faculty members.
    • Reaching local competitiveness with quality, ratings and accreditation.
  3. Developing and developing the competencies of sustainable human and administrative resources in the college:
    • Attracting distinguished faculty, research and administrative staff to the college.
    • Enhancing governance in university work, raising the well-being and enhancing the satisfaction of employees within the college.
    • Implementing programs for training and developing the performance of staff (academic and administrative) in the college.
    • Employing information technology in teaching and learning.
  4. Enhancing community and global participation:

    • Applied Programming
  2. The Department of Applied Arts includes:
    • Graphic design
    • Interior design and decoration
    • TV production and directing techniques
    • Fashion and knitting technology
