It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Deanship of Scientific Research and Innovation at Al-Balqa Applied University, which we consider the knowledge gateway that supports creativity and research excellence, and the bridge that connects academic ambition with national economic advancement.
The Deanship of Scientific Research at Al-Balqa Applied University was established as an independent deanship in the academic year 2006/2007, after previously being part of the Graduate Studies Faculty. This step was taken to organize and advance scientific research in line with the requirements of research excellence. Based on our deep awareness of the rapid transformations in the world of knowledge, the role of the Deanship is no longer limited to traditional administrative aspects; rather, it has become a central force in leading change and ensuring the university’s presence at the forefront of the research and digital future.
This renewed launch comes in alignment with the directives and continuous support of His Excellency the University President, Professor Dr. Ahmad Fakhri Al-Ajlouni who places great emphasis on scientific research, believing that advancing the global standing of Al-Balqa Applied University and achieving its strategic ambitions can only be realized through research excellence and strengthening the innovation ecosystem.
In light of the accelerating knowledge revolution and the enormous expansion in data volume, it has become necessary to reconsider the philosophy of research and learning. The Deanship of Scientific Research and Innovation recognizes its national and academic responsibility in consolidating scientific reputation and research distinction, working side by side with the university’s faculties and centers to translate the institutional vision into tangible reality that serves society and contributes to development and prosperity.
As we open channels of communication through this website, we invite all researchers and those interested to share with us their constructive opinions and suggestions, so that together we may elevate scientific research to the highest levels and make our university a competitive research and innovation force locally, regionally, and globally.
