The International Research Center for Water, Environment, and Energy is recognized as one of the official institutions of Al-Balqa Applied University, which is accredited by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education as a public university. The Center is also accredited by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as an authorized research, studies, and consultancy center in the fields of water, environment, and energy.
In addition, the Center is accredited by the Jordanian Ministry of Environment to conduct Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies and to provide consultancy services in related fields.
