Medical Insurance Unit
As part of the endeavor to motivate and serve the university’s academic and administrative staff and raise the levels of providing medical services of outstanding quality, paying attention to the services provided to them constitutes an important base and a basic support of the work of this unit to raise the level of performance of the employees and develop their achievements, which reflects positively on the reputation and the status of the university locally and globally.
The Health Insurance Unit was established in 2017 under Health Insurance Regulation No. (176) of the year (2003) with the aim of implementing health insurance systems and instructions to facilitate receiving health care through a new comprehensive, distinct and continuous vision of high quality and reliability inside and outside the university campus in cooperation and continuous and constructive communication with our partners are within a chain of a medical network that covers the various governorates of the Kingdom in conjunction with providing services to our students on campus and providing curative and preventive services through the university clinic.
Which has been provided with distinguished medical personnel, medical equipment, modern medical supplies and necessary
medicines in the university pharmacy, and an ambulance for the transfer of emergency cases, in accordance with the latest regulations in Jordanian and International universities. Where the number of subscribers exceeded 16,000 subscribers and beneficiaries, and more than 60,000 students, we offer them this service in the university center and its affiliated colleges. While the number of medical authorities accredited within the medical network of the university is approximately 1,200 medical authorities.

Proceeding from the saying of the late, God willing, the builder King Al-Hussein Bin Talal, may God have mercy on him, (The human being is the most precious thing we possess) and in order to achieve this royal vision and in accordance with the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, which stresses the need to pay attention to the health and safety of the citizen, health insurance is one of the most important and prominent services provided by the university with the aim of Serving the staff of the faculty, administrative staff and students, and facilitating health services for them.

The Health Insurance Unit is pleased to assign tasks to it to provide services that enhance the mentioned incentive to all parties - employees, their families and university students - in
various ways managed by the unit through communication with the contracting parties
Electronic portals and interactive pages have been established on the university's website, through which observations and suggestions are tracked in order to translate and analyze them into a better reality in line with the standards of progress and quality assurance.
The unit will work to develop its medical networks in agreement with the best service providers in the medical sector and to complement the university's march in adopting social responsibility and facilitating receiving service in the shortest possible time and the best possible service
