The Center for Development and Quality Assurance at the university was established as a result of the decision of the Board of Trustees (49-2010 / 2011) on 2/6/2011. The core of this center started with the establishment of Planning, Development and Information Unit in 2005.
After that, due to the importance of quality, which began to take on a wide dimension and spread around the world, the name of the unit was changed to become the Planning, Development and Quality Unit according to the decision of the Council of Deans on 9/26/2005.
In 2011, the center renamed as the Center for Development and Quality Assurance.
The center’s core aim centered on improving the performance of the university and its colleges, enhancing its competitiveness at the national, regional and international levels, ensuring its application to accreditation and quality systems and standards, and helping to achieve its mission and goals in line with the policies and strategies set, by employing and strengthening the required infrastructure.
