About Erasmus+

The ERASMUS+ is the general name of the umbrella program that includes support for various age groups and target groups in the fields of education, youth, and sports. As with previous programs, the Erasmus+ Program continues to offer funding for school education, higher education, vocational education, adult education, and youth, as well as sports-related fields.
ERASMUS+ Higher Education Program is a European Union Program that encourages cooperation between higher education institutions and the business world. The program aims to enhance the quality of higher education in Europe by promoting inter-country cooperation between higher education institutions; ensuring the mobility of students and staff of higher education institutions in Europe; and by contributing to the development of academic recognition and transparency of studies and degrees earned in the participating countries. Higher education institutions collaborate on the development and implementation of joint projects; provides financial assistance for short-term student and staff exchanges. In addition, it encourages the expansion of relations and cooperation between higher education institutions and working circles in an effort to develop the higher education system in accordance with the needs of the business world and to boost the employability of university graduates in the business world.

Our Erasmus+ Coordinatorship, which is part of our university's International Relations Coordinatorship, is responsible for the participation of our students, faculty, and administrative staff in EU Education Programs, as well as the activities to be carried out at our university by participants from foreign universities.
