BAU has a number of active Erasmus+ ICM agreement with different higher education institutions in Europe. BAU staff interested in participating in a mobility exchange can contact The Cooperation & International Relations Unit (CIRU) for more information. Please note that the funding offered to assist with travel and lodging expenses is fully administered by Erasmus. For your teaching/training application to be processed, please follow these instructions:
Checking announcements for Erasmus teaching and training calls on one of CIRU’s social media pages or the university official email.
Sending an email to int.office@bau.edu.jo with the details required by CIRU including usually your academic details, a brief CV highlighting your area of expertise and how the exchange will benefit both universities, and a draft of your teaching plan.
The initial nomination is carried out via the designated committee and as per the selection criteria.
Initial nominations are communicated to the host university. If approved, selections are made public and CIRU will contact successful candidates to directly finalize your visit. It is at the discretion of the relevant department to admit a visitor for staff training. The hosting department is responsible for organizing a program based on the visitor's interests, and a significant amount of work is required to design the program and host the visit.
During their stay abroad, both academic and staff visitors participating in the Erasmus+ program are required to be covered by an insurance policy that includes Third-Party Liability Insurance and Accident coverage while performing duties related to the activities to be carried out abroad.
Upon return, participants are required to provide a detailed report about their mobility to CIRU.
