Department of Administrative and Financial Sciences

The department grants the bachelor degree in the specialization of Business Administration, intermediate university diploma degree in the specializations of accounting, business administration, accounting information systems, administrative information systems, financial and banking sciences. The section includes a handful of faculty qualified and experienced staff members and campaign senior scientific qualifications, academic ranks

The department of Administrative and Financial Sciences in Irbid University College should be leading among the other colleges in the Kingdom through the provision of the best educational opportunities for all individuals in community by equipping them with knowledge, skills, behaviors and values which help them to be qualified in a world seeking professionalism and competence.

Objectives

Through the analysis of the factors of internal and external environment of the department, the following three strategic cores have been adopted for it.

Relationship with community:

The department aims at serving community, preparing and developing working powers through promoting partnership with public and private sectors at several levels such as training, employment, care and modification of instruction programs to suit job market requirements, as well as the enhancement of scientific partnership, exchange of experiences, participations in activities and potentials presented by the institutions of public and private sectors the universities and calling representatives of the universities.

Providing new programs which are in harmony with development needs in job market and developing existing ones that go with job market needs

The Student:

Promoting the student at all levels in order to be able to cope with job requirements to be productive from the beginning and wishing to make progress through the dedication of the concept of university culture and vacation encouragement and emphasis on co-operative training through the qualitative selection of students, application of standards of measurement and evaluation and development of study plans
