Department of Library Management and Information Technology

Library Management and Information Technology is one of the unique disciplines in the college, because of its importance in disseminating practical and theoretical competencies relevant to libraries and traditional and electronic information sources, managing, documenting, indexing, classifying and marketing them in a high-performance technological and electronic framework. The first batch of students was accepted in this major at the beginning of the academic year 2004 / 2005. It is also one of the contemporary disciplines in the college because of its importance in preparing practical and theoretical competencies in dealing with computer skills, multimedia, various software systems’ analysis, computer management and their applications
