Ma’an College, established in 1989 as Ma’an Community College, is strategically located 7 kilometers from Ma’an city center and within the route to Petra—one of the world’s seven archaeological wonders. The college enjoys a prime location adjacent to the permanent site of Al-Hussein Bin Talal University.
The college is part of an ambitious permanent project designed to meet Al-Balqa Applied University’s growing needs and future expansion plans. The college includes various student facilities like student dorms, a modern library, a cafeteria, a gymnasium, a mosque, and other essential amenities. This infrastructure does not only serve the immediate educational requirements but also position Ma’an College as a significant educational landmark, with the potential to evolve into a university college offering Bachelor’s degrees in various technical disciplines.
