The Department of Supporting Medical Sciences

The department was found in 2007/2008. It is departed from the Applied Sciences Department to include the new medical disciplines that were named. The department offers the 2 year diploma in supporting medical sciences such as associate nursing, medical labs and pharmacy. It also offers the 3 year-diploma in midwifery.

Vision

The department tries to develop disciplines from diploma degree into bachelor. It also tries to develop and open new disciplines that meet the needs of the community such as Immediate Aid Nursing and Therapeutic Nutrition so that it will provide qualified and skillful graduates to the labour market.
