Science College
The Faculty of Science was established in 1997 alongside the founding of Al-Balqa Applied University (BAU), originally known as the Faculty of Applied Sciences. As one of the pioneering institutions in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, it was among the first to offer programs in information technology.
Aligned with the broader goals of Al-Balqa Applied University, the Faculty of Science is committed to advancing scientific and technological progress to serve Jordanian society. We aspire to achieve local and global recognition in the field of applied sciences by offering a diverse range of exemplary academic programs (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Basic Sciences) that adhere to both national and international quality and accreditation standards.
We are proud to have earned the international institutional accreditation ASIC and general accreditation for all disciplines within the Faculty from the Jordanian national accreditation body. Our aim is to address the evolving needs of the labor market, both now and in the future, ensuring our graduates are well-prepared to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world.
