Welcome to
Faculty of Shoubk College
Shoubak University College traces its origins to Shoubak Secondary Agricultural School, which began its educational journey in the academic year 1965/1966 as the only agricultural school in Ma’an Governorate. In response to the educational expansion in the Kingdom, the Ministry of Education established an institute in 1975 to train agricultural teachers, aiming to produce specialists in the agricultural field. By 1980, the institute had graduated 330 students. Subsequently, the institute was replaced by Shoubak Community College, following the Ministry of Education’s adoption of the community college concept in the academic year 1980/1981.
Following the Royal Decree to establish Al-Balqa Applied University (BAU) on the 7th of Rabi’ al-Thani 1417 AH (corresponding to August 22, 1996), Shoubak University College came under the umbrella of Al-Balqa Applied University (BAU) as of January 1, 1999.
Shoubak University College is committed to elevating the academic and scientific standards of this college by providing faculty members with advanced degrees in various scientific and humanities disciplines, establishing modern scientific laboratories, equipping these laboratories with state-of-the-art technological educational tools, and ensuring all necessary technical resources are available. The college also promotes and encourages the development of scientific research.
