Message from the Director

Our Dear International Students, Welcome to your university, Al-Balqa Applied University, and to your second home, Jordan — a truly Arab and hospitable country that has always warmly embraced all our brothers and sisters from the Arab nations, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein. With great pride and joy, we are delighted to welcome you to our large academic family. We look forward to your experience at our university being unique, fruitful, and a valuable addition to our academic community. Your cultural diversity and distinctive experiences form a cornerstone in realizing our future vision of science and knowledge, and in strengthening intercultural communication among nations. Vision

We aim to build a generation of students who are psychologically, physically and mentally fit through developing their capabilities, stimulating their energy, and improving their positive attitudes to best serve their country and nation.

1. Help students adapt to the university environment
2. Launch sport activities to improve the students `sport talents and enhance cooperation, planning, and competition values that the students have
3. Designs and implement cultural, social, and artistic programs to enhance the social and cultural awareness of the students to stay in contact with the nation`s issues
4. Follow up on the alumni affairs, strengthen their relationship with the university, follow up on their achievements, and stay in contact with them
5. Help students with social, educational, psychological problems through counseling and remedial programs
6. Pay special attention to the vocational orientation by providing a database about the needs of the market along with providing students with training courses
7. Follow up on the international students affairs, help them adapt, and help solve any problem they might face
8. Pay special attention to the students` scientific association in the faculties of the university and activate their role
9. Encourage students to volunteer to serve their university and society

3. Designing a sub-website to contact the international students and listen to their complaints.
4. Holding many meetings with the cultural attaché of the international students’ countries.
5. Preparing many introductory meeting for the international students of all nationalities.
6. Preparing a guide for the international students.
7. Making many internal trips for the international students to introduce them to the historic and touristic sites in Jordan.
