Department of Sports Activities

The Department of Sports Activities is concerned with refining the student’s personality in various physical and mental aspects. It also develops students’ sporting talents by providing the opportunity for them to practice various sports activities under the supervision of specialized trainers. The department also takes care with students of athletic excellence, and forms sports teams to participate in various sports competitions. The services provided by this department include the following:

University sports activity is concerned with the following: Holding free training courses for students in different sports. Organizing sports meetings with public bodies and officials Participation in the Jordanian Universities Sports Federation Championships Celebrating national events by holding sports competitions. Forming sports teams for different sports. Sports activities for university colleges and intermediate university colleges It implements the plan of Sports Federation activities for university colleges and intermediate university colleges through: Holding training courses for sports supervisors in university colleges and intermediate university colleges. Supervising sports competitions organized by the Sports Federation of university colleges and intermediate university colleges. Organizing internal and external sports competitions. Cooperating with local and Arab sports federations to serve the national sport
