In line with Al-Balqa Applied University’s mission to serve the local and Arab communities, and in response to the Kingdom’s growing need for accredited diagnostic centers, the Comprehensive Center for Measurement and Diagnosis of Disabilities was established to provide scientific and standardized assessment services for children with disabilities. The Center employs internationally recognized diagnostic tools adapted to the Jordanian environment, ensuring accuracy, objectivity, and reliability in evaluation.The Center was founded as a specialized and comprehensive institution dedicated to diagnosing and assessing various types of disabilities, including: (Intellectual Disabilities, Hearing Impairments, Visual Impairments,Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders) . It provides services that encompass psychological, educational, and developmental assessments, as well as professional consultations, conducted by a team of highly qualified specialists from Al-Balqa Applied University. The establishment of the Center was officially approved by University Council Resolution No. (52/2022/2023) on February 1st, 2023, and funded through a generous grant of 200,000 Jordanian Dinars from the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation.This initiative reflects the University’s vision of delivering high-quality community services and preparing specialized professional cadres capable of contributing to the development of inclusive and evidence-based practices in the field of disabilities.

At the Comprehensive Center for Measurement and Diagnosis of Disabilities, we are committed to providing the most advanced and comprehensive diagnostic services for all categories of special education, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and led by a team of highly skilled professionals.Our goal is to empower children with disabilities to achieve greater independence and self-reliance, while positioning the Center as a national and regional leader in the fields of measurement, diagnosis, and early intervention programs.Through adherence to international best practices in psychological and educational assessment, we strive to enhance the quality of life for children with disabilities and their families. We also aim to foster a positive societal perspective toward persons with disabilities, and to serve as a model of excellence in professional and administrative practice, both in Jordan and across the Arab world.
