Definition


The Guidance Department provides psychological and educational counseling services for children with disabilities and their families through individual and group sessions, as well as psychosocial support programs that help improve quality of life and family adaptation. The department also contributes to raising community awareness about mental health and understanding the needs of individuals with disabilities

    Tasks


  1. Providing individual and group counseling sessions for children and families
  2. Following up on cases referred from the Diagnostic Department after results are issued
  3. Designing and implementing behavioral and emotional support programs
  4. • Offering consultations to families and schools on ways to interact with individuals with disabilities
  5. Preparing individualized psychological and educational follow-up plans for each case
