French is a key global language spoken by over 300 million people across five continents. As an official language of international institutions such as the United Nations, the European Union, and the International Olympic Committee, French is indispensable for global diplomacy, business, and cultural exchange. Mastering French not only opens doors to a rich literary and cultural heritage but also enhances career opportunities in various sectors, including international relations, tourism, and business, particularly in Francophone regions.
At the Language Center, we offer French courses designed according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), with each level consisting of 30 hours over one month:
|
- A1 (Beginner) - 30 Hours
(Duration varies from one week to one month, depending on your availability):
This level introduces learners to the basics of French, focusing on understanding and using familiar everyday expressions and basic phrases. By the end of this course, students will be able to introduce themselves, ask and answer simple questions about personal details, and engage in basic interactions provided the other person speaks slowly and clearly.
- A2 (Elementary) - 30 Hours
(Duration varies from one week to one month, depending on your availability):
At the A2 level, learners will expand their ability to understand sentences and commonly used expressions related to areas of immediate relevance, such as personal information, shopping, and employment. They will learn to handle simple, routine tasks that require a direct exchange of information on familiar matters.
- B1 (Intermediate) - 30 Hours
(Duration varies from one week to one month, depending on your availability):
Learners at this stage will focus on understanding the main points of clear standard communication on familiar topics encountered in work, school, and leisure. They will gain the skills to manage most situations that may arise while traveling in French-speaking areas and be able to produce simple, connected text on familiar or personal interest topics.
- B2 (Upper Intermediate) - 30 Hours
(Duration varies from one week to one month, depending on your availability):
This level enables learners to understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics. They will develop the ability to interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that allows for regular communication with native speakers without significant strain and will learn to produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects.
- C1 (Advanced) - 30 Hours
(Duration varies from one week to one month, depending on your availability):
At the advanced level, learners will be able to understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts and grasp implicit meanings. They will gain the ability to express ideas fluently and spontaneously, making effective use of the language in social, academic, and professional contexts. The course will also focus on producing well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, utilizing advanced organizational patterns and cohesive devices.
