In line with the Royal Directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, may God protect him, which emphasize that human capital is the nation’s most valuable asset and the cornerstone of sustainable development, Al-Balqa Digital Platform was established to translate this vision into action by building qualified digital competencies capable of innovation and creativity, and by contributing to the development of advanced, impactful content that serves both the University and society.
The platform was founded in response to the growing need for a dynamic, interactive digital learning environment that keeps pace with modern educational trends and supports the University's digital transformation efforts. It aims to centralize digital efforts, ensure the quality of educational and promotional video production, and enhance the academic and learning experience for students and faculty alike.
Currently, the platform covers all events and activities organized by Al-Balqa Applied University, both at the main campus and across its northern, central, and southern colleges, through high-quality digital video production based on professional standards. It also produces promotional videos that introduce the University’s faculties and academic programs, with special attention given to inclusivity by integrating features that support individuals with special needs.
To expand its global outreach, the platform has recently added voice-over capabilities in multiple languages, including English, French, and Chinese, enabling the University’s message to reach broader, international audiences.
In line with its mission to empower youth in the field of digital media, the platform has proudly embraced and nurtured student media talents from various faculties, offering them hands-on training in digital media fields such as filming, presenting, voice-over, and content preparation. These students are given real opportunities to unleash their creativity under the supervision of professional technical teams.
