Welcome Note

Established in 1997, the Department of the Secretariat of the Councils has been instrumental in supporting the university’s governance framework. Operating in alignment with the university’s laws, regulations, and instructions, the department manages the tasks of the following governance councils:

• The Board of Trustees and its committees.
• The University Council.
• The Council of Deans.
• The Appointment and Promotion Committee, derived from the Council of Deans.
