To attain the project objectives, eight distinct work packages have been formulated. Among these, five hold a pivotal role, encompassing essential activities crucial for generating the anticipated value. The remaining three work packages are dedicated to overseeing, executing, and disseminating the projects outcomes. Allocation of the work packages to partners is determined by their expertise and contribution. Each work package is outlined below, along with a breakdown of its associated activities:
WP1. Management and Coordination:
· Setting up the Project Governance and Management System
· Operative and financial management of the project
· Preparation of the project management manual and risk mitigation plan
· Preparation and implementation of the project kick-off meeting
· Preparation and implementation of the project management meetings
· Preparation and implementation of project closing meeting
WP2. Preparation: Comprehensive Capacity Assessment and Preparation:
· Develop the necessary documents and manuals to establish assessment benchmarks and articulate best practices for the implementation of the Bologna Process.
· Design the Bologna Process gap analysis checklist in order to be utilized for assessing developments needed at each partner (ministries & HEIs) in Palestine and Jordan.
· Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the higher education systems in Plestine and Jordan, including the readiness of ministries staff, as well as the examination of laws, bylaws, and regulations concerning the adoption of the Bologna system.
· Assess the partner universities in Palestine and Jordan for their readiness to adopt the Bologna system.
· Develop and disseminate a customized capacity-building plan for each partner (ministries & HEIs) in Palestine & Jordan based on assessment findings.
WP3. Development 1: Capacity Building and Knowledge Transfer:

· Implementation of online training for universities in partner countries.
· Organization and implementation of in-person training.
· Organization and implementation of study visits to program countries (EU partner universities).
· Organizing and conducting local capacity building at partner universities.
· Executing the self-evaluation, and preparation of remediation plans at partner universities.
· Prepare the WP3 report and conclusion of development 1.
WP4. Development 2: Curriculum Development:
· Establish curriculum development teams in Palestine and Jordan.
· Engage key stakeholders, including science teachers, academics, and policymakers.
· Develop a new curriculum for science programs in Palestine and Jordan based on the Bologna Process.
· Conduct reviews and revisions based on feedback from stakeholders.
· Finalize, document, and obtain the required accreditation and the quality assurance system for the new curriculum.
WP5. Development 3: Teacher Training:
· Develop a teacher training program aligned with the new curriculum.
· Organize workshops, seminars, and online courses for science teachers.
· Deliver the training program to science teachers in Palestine and Jordan.
· Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the teacher training.
WP6. Implementation of new Bologna-based programs:
· Establish a team of experts to support the implementation phase.
· Provide guidance and support to partner universities during the implementation of the new curriculum.
· Monitor the progress of the implementation phase.
· Address any challenges or issues that arise during implementation.
· Development of a manual on the new teaching system based on the tailored experience.
WP7. Evaluation: Project Quality and Evaluation:
· Forming the project’s quality assurance team.
· Creation of project quality assurance and monitoring plan.
· Ongoing project progress and quality self evaluation.
· Preparation of the annual evaluation report.
· Hire an independent evaluator to assess the impact of the project.
WP8. Dissemination and Exploitation of the project results:
· Forming the dissemination and exploitation team.
· Creation of the dissemination and results exploitation plan.
· Development of dissemination materials and social media platforms.
· Establishing the website and the cloud space for hosting the project’s documents.
· Managing project documents, media work, and training material on the project website.
· Disseminate project activities and outcomes at relevant events or similar projects.
· Disseminate project activities and outcomes to other Palestinian universities.
· Preparation and implementation of the Final Workshop to decision makers and key stakeholders.
· Prepare the WP8 final dissemination report.
