Project Activities

The project activities are divided into 6 work packages, WP1- Project Management and Coordination. WP2- Preparation and implementation of the capacity building. WP3 -Establish an innovative lab center for Surveying and Mapping. WP4- Development of courses in Surveying and Mapping. WP5 Project Quality Control and Quality Assurance. WP6 Dissemination, Exploitation and Sustainability.

In detail: In order to achieve the project’s objectives, the following logic of intervention and working methodology will be implemented from inception to conclusion of this project. Six Work Packages (WPs) are foreseen:

Project Management and Coordination (WP1):

·      Preparation of the Management Plan.

·      Development of Performance Indicators.

·      Organization of partnership management meetings.

·      Preparation and submission of the official reports (interim, final) of the project.

Preparation and implementation of the capacity building (WP2):

·      Preparation of baseline study.

·      Development of the capacity building plan.

·      Development of the training material.

Establish an innovative lab center for Surveying and Mapping (WP3):

·      Equipment purchasing, delivery & setup.

·      Operational design and preparation.

Development of courses in Surveying and Mapping (WP4):

·         Description of the training modules for initial and ongoing training.

·         Development of content (mainly in Jordan, Tunisia and Egypt).

·         Implementation / piloting of courses.

Project Quality Control and Quality Assurance (WP5):

·         Setting up the Quality Committee.

·         Drafting the Quality and evaluation Plan.

Dissemination, Exploitation and Sustainability

·         Dissemination and Exploitation Strategy

·         Creation of the project website, the project Facebook and other social media pages
