Dear Colleagues,
The Cooperation and International Relations Unit invites you the US/Jordan Education Forum event
to be held on January 8, 2023, at 6:00 pm (Jordan time), and 10:00 am (Pennsylvania time)
Dr. Najwa Qbailat, General Secretary of the Ministry of Education, will be the keynote speaker from the Jordan side and shell be speaking on the importance and practice of Pre-service teacher training.
Dr. Dale-Elizabeth Pehrsson, President, Pennsylvania West University (PennWest) will be the keynote speaker from the US and she’ll be speaking on the psycho-social development of children and how it impacts teaching.
Dr. Gwen Price, Vice-Provost, University of Akron, will be addressing the importance and practice of pre-service teacher training.
Dr. Timothy Stevenson will be addressing the logistics of teacher training in the university curriculum—from a STEM and STE(A)M perspective.
