On Sunday, June 30, 2024, the Language Center at Al-Balqa Applied University (BAU) organized a closing ceremony for Dr. Jennifer Green, the Fulbright Scholar, to mark the end of her Arabic language program at the center. Dr. Green received her certificate and took some photos with the staff. Dr. Khetam Shraideh, the Director of the Language Center, thanked Dr. Green for her significant contributions to the center. She highlighted Dr. Greens efforts in providing free workshops and programs to enhance the language proficiency of university students from various colleges and disciplines, as well as creating short educational videos focusing on English language skills, which will be available to all students on the Language Centers platform.

Dr. Green expressed her deep gratitude to the center for the support and opportunities provided to her during her time at the university, expressing her great joy in meeting the students and being deeply affected by her unique experience learning Arabic at the Language Center.

The Language Center extends its thanks to the Cooperation and International Relations Unit at BAU for facilitating Dr. Greens work, as well as to the Fulbright team in Jordan for their continuous support and collaboration with BAU.
