Memorandum of Understanding between Al-Balqa Applied University and Al-Hussein Technical University to engage students in the HTUX.ORG accelerated educational platform tracks

 Balqa Applied University signed a memorandum of understanding with Al Hussein Technical University, one of the initiatives of the Crown Prince Foundation, with the aim of involving the universitys students in the tracks of the HTUX.ORG accelerated educational platform, which is the first Arabic digital platform of its kind, developed by the Digital Learning Center at Al Hussein Technical University.

 

The agreement was signed on behalf of Balqa Applied University by its President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fakhri Al-Ajlouni, and on behalf of Al Hussein Technical University by its President, Prof. Dr. Ismail Al-Hanti.

 

Dr. Al-Ajlouni said that Balqa Applied University is concerned with technical and applied education through a wide range of diverse academic programs that focus on technical and applied education, practical training, and establishing partnerships with industrial and commercial companies and institutions to provide field training opportunities for students and develop curricula that are in line with the labor market, in addition to supporting scientific research projects related to technology and practical applications and the use of e-learning technologies and digital educational materials to enhance the learning experience.

 

Dr. Al-Ajlouni added that this partnership represents a strategic step towards enabling our students to access innovative educational resources and specialized training programs that contribute to developing their future technical and professional skills.

 

President of Al Hussein Technical University, Dr. Ismail Al-Hanti, said that Al Hussein Technical University and Al Balqa Applied University are two leading universities in technical and applied education in Jordan by dedicating their efforts to preparing graduates for the dynamic industrial sector and integrating the wheel of innovation and change in the region and beyond through the "Growth" initiative, which is one of the initiatives of the Abdullah Al Ghurair Foundation and was launched in several countries, including Jordan, Tunisia and Lebanon, and is being implemented in Jordan by the HTUX.ORG platform in partnership with the Crown Prince Foundation.

 

Al-Hanti added that the aim of this platform is to provide 4,000 free "growth" opportunities to train students from participating Jordanian universities with the aim of creating growth and positive change in their career paths, and providing them with the skills that prepare them for the modern and accelerating labor market.

 

The agreement included the active participation of students to benefit from the initiatives of the HTUX.ORG accelerated educational platform paths, in addition to organizing sessions and events to raise awareness, promote knowledge and answer questions about the HTUX platform initiatives. ORG for the target group of graduates and final year students from Al-Balqa Applied University from the total number of beneficiaries of the four thousand free “growth” opportunities provided to Jordanian youth with the aim of creating growth and positive change in their career paths through accelerated learning paths that do not exceed six months, provided through the HTUX.ORG platform.
