The Engineering Workshops Department trains students and provides them with professional skills by teaching them in the Engineering Workshops course on lathe and metal cutting works, blacksmithing and welding works, and metal forming works.
The department also assists graduation project students in the college to complete the practical requirements related to their projects.
To achieve this, the Engineering Workshops Department has been equipped with productive training machines and equipment for various skills.
The mechanical workshops in the field of metal cutting and shaping contain programmed lathes (CNC), milling and planing machines, and drills. There are also machines for forming sheet metal and drawing metal wires, in addition to hydraulic presses, as well as smelting furnaces. Metals and machines for arc welding, TIG welding, MIG welding, as well as Oxyacetylene welding.
