The Deanship of Student Affairs was established to take care of the student, develop, and refine his/her personality, by supporting and encouraging constructive student activities. It also aims to help the student to solve the problems he/she faces, and to develop a spirit of trust between him/her and all the university departments and units.
The Deanship plays an important role in building a warm relationship between the students and all the university colleges. It also provides everything that would support the implementation of the activities that the Deanship plans every semester and on annual basis to develop students’ abilities and invest their energy in cultural, social, arts, sports and other fields. The Deanship aims to build a sense of patriotism and national identity among the students and work in a team spirit.
It also motivates teamwork, tolerance, dialogue, inclusivity, flexibility, and deal with different circumstances in lights of the interests of the nation. Finally, The Deanship releases publications and brochures that deal with topics of students’ interest such as Minbar al-Balqa newspaper, the Student Handbook, and BAU’s yearbook. (Fursan al-Balqa).
