Language Turkish

Turkish is a significant language spoken by over 80 million people, primarily in Turkey and Cyprus, with considerable communities in Europe and Central Asia. As a bridge between East and West, Turkey plays a pivotal role in global trade, politics, and culture. Learning Turkish offers unique insights into the rich history and diverse traditions of the region, while also enhancing opportunities in business, diplomacy, and tourism across both Europe and Asia.
At the Language Center, we offer Turkish courses based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), with each level consisting of 30 hours over the course of one month:
A1 (Beginner) - 30 Hours
(Duration varies from one week to one month, depending on your availability): This introductory level focuses on basic communication skills, enabling learners to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and simple phrases. By the end of the course, students will be able to introduce themselves, ask and answer basic questions about personal details, and engage in simple conversations with speakers who speak slowly and clearly.
A2 (Elementary) - 30 Hours
(Duration varies from one week to one month, depending on your availability): At this level, learners will develop the ability to understand sentences and commonly used expressions related to immediate relevance areas, such as personal information, shopping, and local geography. They will be able to communicate in simple, routine tasks that involve straightforward exchanges of information on familiar and routine matters.
B1 (Intermediate) - 30 Hours
(Duration varies from one week to one month, depending on your availability): Learners at this stage will focus on understanding the main points of clear, standard communication on familiar topics encountered in work, school, and leisure. They will gain the skills to manage most situations that may arise while traveling in Turkish-speaking regions and be able to produce simple, connected text on familiar or personal interest topics.
B2 (Upper Intermediate) - 30 Hours
(Duration varies from one week to one month, depending on your availability): At the B2 level, learners will work on understanding the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions within their field of specialization. They will be able to interact with native speakers fluently and spontaneously, enabling regular interaction without strain, and will learn to produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects.
C1 (Advanced) - 30 Hours
(Duration varies from one week to one month, depending on your availability): This advanced level is designed to help learners understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognize implicit meanings. They will develop the ability to express ideas fluently and spontaneously, using the language effectively in social, academic, and professional contexts. The course will also emphasize producing well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, utilizing advanced organizational patterns and cohesive devices.
