BAU's main computing center, the Computer center is concerned in computerizing the university computer-based electronic needs and serves the university population, being teaching staff, administration members or students. The center is located in the university's premises in Salt, and is in charge of all other sub-centers of the university colleges and faculties.

| A Welcome from the Director |
It is a pleasure to receive any requests or inquiries on the services our center presents, whether from the university staff or our webpage users. It is this the webpage that is concerned with the computerization and automation of the BAU's electronic needs. This springs from the university's belief that information and communication technology plays an increasingly vital role connected almost to all its activities. The center is established with a view to laying down the basis for a digital university.
The center seeks to elevate the university performance through automating all its systems and providing special services to all deanships, units, and centers as well as to the university colleges. The center also provides services related to computer networks, developing computer systems, adequate training, and finding relevant technical solutions to all university units.
Throughout the past years, the center was run by my former colleagues who took part in developing procedures followed in the center to help it cope with the latest developments in information systems. On behalf of my self and my team, and after ( 24 ) years of establishing the center, we undertake upon ourselves the responsibility to move confidently forward with upgrading the center to be in line with the recent information technologies based on a well-studied strategy that gives rise to establishing information technology at the university. To this end, the center is keen on providing relevant infrastructure, and technical staff that can run and develop technical applications. This comes as no surprise as the center has special expertise on information technology that provides services to the local community. The center seeks to form special partnerships with social and private sector bodies.

In the upcoming stage, the center seeks to provide special reliable services due to its experience and the special relationships with institutions inside and outside the university. This is in realization of the university's integral vision that continually supports technical progress of the university role in education, research, and community service.
