Objectives :


  • Implementation of accreditation and quality programs at colleges and faculties and their programs.
  • Promotion of quality culture for university personnel.
  • Assistance for colleges and faculties to design quality systems, and provision of regulations and procedures including developing such systems to cope with the quality and quantity of their duties.
  • Setting out relevant standards and procedures to carry out different quality assessment systems.
  • Improvement of assessment standards and circulation of recommended national and international applications.
  • Coordination with institutions concerned in quality assessment nationally and internationally as regards the university colleges and faculties participation in external assessment programs.


Duties :


  • • Designing specialized studies on quality standards implementation, including wide knowledge and availing of successful experiences in this regard.
  • • Proposing planning activities to carry out quality systems, in cooperation with concerned quality offices at the university colleges and faculties.
  • • Holding symposiums and workshops aiming at consolidating the culture of quality.
  • • Follow-up on colleges and faculties efforts to consolidate the culture of quality throughout the educational process and its outcomes, and structuring and adjusting it to cope with their capacities.
  • • Designing relevant forms for different assessment programs and circulating them round colleges and faculties.
  • • Making and tracking the department's correspondences, and their referral to the bodies concerned.
  • • Making regular reports of accomplishment performance and their submission to the center's director.
  • • Providing training opportunities and programs on quality and its applications to the personnel concerned, and encouraging them to take an active role.
  • • Any other duties entrusted to him/ her by the center's director.


Quality Assurance Sub-Departments :


Accreditation Department :
Duties :
  • Design of relevant forms of accreditation and assessment programs and circulation round colleges and faculties.
  • Using feedback as a tool to incorporate necessary enhancements to activities and enforced procedures.
  • Organization of field visits of accreditation and other committees pay by accreditation commission.
  • Audit of data and information presented by colleges, faculties, and assessment committees, and submission the results to the Department director.
  • Authentication and provision of paper and electronic data on aspects of the academic and administrative processes as required.
  • Making self assessment reports for colleges and faculties.
  • Regular reports on carrying out different accreditation and assessment programs.
  • Any other duties assigned by the department director.


Information and Studies Department :
Duties :
  • Provision of different required forms, reports and studies.
  • Assistance for administrative departments to apply total quality standards and participate in quality contests.
  • Preparation of training courses in coordination with The Consultations Center and the bodies concerned.
  • Assembling and providing information and data, in paper or electronic, that deal with all aspects of the academic and administrative processes.
  • Supervision over assembling qualitative and quantitative data on university, colleges, and faculties, as well as their audition and continuous update.
  • Design of surveys and tables related to assembling, organizing, and analyzing data and statistics of draft plans preparation and detecting their implementation.
  • Any other duties assigned by the department director.
