Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work at Princess Rahma University College, where she has been teaching since 1993. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Jordan (2006), a master's degree in the same field from the University of Jordan (1993), and a bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Jordan (1988).
She has extensive academic experience through her work at Al-Balqa Applied University in Jordan, where she has been a member of the Social Work Department from 1993 until 2025. Her research and scientific articles have been published in numerous national, Arab, and international journals, including those indexed in Scopus.
She is an active member of several specialized associations and committees, such as the World Federation of Family Counseling and Training Centers, Scientific Research Committees, and Curriculum Development Committees, among others.
She has contributed to numerous national, Arab, and international conferences and workshops and has led several volunteer initiatives in local communities, particularly in impoverished areas.
Her research interests focus on volunteer work, youth, political participation, artificial intelligence in addressing social issues, family, childhood, and other contemporary social issues.
She has also served as a thesis committee member for numerous master's theses in the Department of Social Work and the Department of Women's Studies at the University of Jordan, as well as in the Faculty of Arts at Beirut Arab University, Lebanon.
