Dr. Sabah Mousa Abdulrahman Al-Momani
Associate Professor of Public Law Constitutional- Administrative
Al-Balqa Applied University - Faculty of Law. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Jordan in 1993, followed by a Master's Degree in Law from the same university in 2005. In 2013, I earned my Ph.D. in Public Law, specializing in Constitutional and Administrative Law, with distinction. My doctoral dissertation was entitled: Judicial Review of the Constitutionality of Laws in Light of the 2011 Constitutional Amendments
My research interests lie in the fields of Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, tax legislation, and human rights, with a particular focus on women's rights and children's rights.
I have been practicing law as a licensed attorney since 1993 and continue to do so, representing clients before all regular courts, particularly before the administrative courts.
In addition to my academic and legal work, I am actively engaged in university and community service. I served as Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Law, Al-Balqa Applied University, during the academic year 2021/2022. Over the years, I have participated in numerous committees, including disciplinary committees, the equivalency committee, the preparatory committee for the Master's Program in Public Law, the curriculum committee, and the course schedule committee.
I have been a Board Member of the Association of Jordanian Women Academics since 2021, a member of the Change Makers Center since 2013, and a member of the Association of Jordanian Women Academics since 2015.
