OverView

Shireen H. Alkurdi is an instructor in the Humanities Department
at Al-Balqa' Applied University in Jordan. She taught at the Hashemite
University, Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the Arab Open University, the
University of Jordan, and Isra' Private University. In 2020, she received her
Doctorate of English Literature/Criticism from the Department of English
Language and Literature, University of Jordan and she was given a Certificate
of Academic Distinction. Alkurdi has participated in international conferences
and published many articles in local and international journals. Her research
interests mainly fall in American multicultural novels, young adult literature
and graphic novels.
