Ala?a Al-Bakheit, is an Associate Professor in Nutrition and works at the Department of Nutrition and Food Processing at Al-Balqa Applied University. She holds a PhD degree in Nutrition from the University of East Anglia in UK in 2014, and a Bachelor's and Master?s degrees in Nutrition and Food Technology from the University of Jordan in 2005 and 2007, respectively, with an excellent ranking.
Dr. Al-Bakheit?s research interests focus on nutrition and human health, and she is an author of a number of peer-reviewed papers. She has participated in many international and local conferences, symposia and scientific days, and received number of awards for the scientific research and the best award for the scientific presentation.
Dr. Al-Bakheit holds a certificate of professional practice of nutrition from the Ministry of Health in Jordan. She is member of the Jordanian Dietitian Association and the Agricultural Engineers Association, in addition to being a member of the committee for licensing the profession of nutrition in the Ministry of Health.
