Dr. Issam Aldowkat has Ph.D. degree in philosophy, majoring in English literature and criticism from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in the United States of America. Dr. Issam is currently an Assistant Professor in the English Language Department at Al-Balqa Applied University in addition to serving as Chair of the English Language Department. Dr. Issam teaches various literature courses and literary criticism course. Dr. Issam's research interests centers around postcolonial moral and critical theories, Orientalism and English literature in the 18th and 19th centuries.
