Jamil S. Al-Azzeh earned his PhD in Computer Engineering from Saint-Petersburg State University, Russia, in 2008. He is a professor in the Computer Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering Technology, Al-Balqa Applied University. His research interests encompass computer system architecture, parallel processing, packet switching networks, group communications, fault tolerance, microarchitecture, and microprogramming.
Dr. Al-Azzeh has authored and co-authored over 60 papers in international and domestic journals, and more than 20 papers in conference proceedings. He serves as a reviewer for several journals and conferences and has been appointed as a keynote speaker and reviewer at numerous conferences.
