My name is Maha Rawhi Al Rimawi
Currently, I hold the position of instructor in the Department of Allied Medical Sciences at Zarqa University College. I have a strong background in Pharmacy, with a major in Pharmacy and master in Pharmaceutical Sciences. My research interests are centered around drug synthesis and discovery, antibacterial activity testing, plant extraction, and the separation and purification of different components, with a specific focus on adsorption capacity measurement.
I completed my Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jordanian University in 2010, where my dissertation focused on the preparation and antimicrobial evaluation of 7-substituted aniline-8-nitrofluoroquinolones. My commitment to academia is reflected in the courses I have taught, covering subjects such as Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Biochemistry, and more. Additionally, I have supervised numerous students in their academic endeavors.
My academic journey has been complemented by a series of publications in reputable journals, reflecting my dedication to contributing valuable insights to the field. Notably, my research has explored topics such as competitive extraction of ions and the antibacterial and anticancer properties of new fluoroquinolones.
Furthermore, I actively participate in university and community service activities. I have been part of the equivalency committee and the aims and outcomes committee for pharmacy specialty at Zarqa University College, demonstrating my commitment to contributing to the academic community.
