Dr. Mohammad Thalji Awwad is an Associated Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering / Al-Balqa Applied University since 1999. He has held several positions:
1- Head of the Civil Engineering Department/three times
2- Vice-Dean for logistics and finance at Faculty of Engineering Technology, Al-Balqa Applied University
3- Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Technology at Zarqa University during my academic leave in 2009
Published more than 20 research article in the field of specialization / civil engineering
I worked for the national program as a doctor of each factory sponsored by the Japanese government, I worked for 3 months with Manaseer Group, and many tests were carried out on the long-term durability of concrete during this period.
After that, I worked with the Middle East Hot Mix Asphalt Company, where oil shale waste was used in asphalt mixtures, and it gave excellent results.
Before being assigned at Al-Balqa Applied University, I?ve worked in the Ministry of Higher Education during the period from 1994 to 1996, when I?ve started my academic career at Tafila Technical College as the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs for one year, then I moved to Amman University College
I?ve supervised several projects in the College of Technology / Al-Balqa Applied University, which are as follows:
1- The process of paving the college streets
2- Changing sidewalks and edge of the street
3- Maintenance of students' bathrooms in the college
4- Raising the outer walls of the college
5- Supervising the structural works in the Deanship building.
